Avice Hill Craft Show

This will be held at the Avice Hill Craft Centre on Memorial Avenue on Sunday 14th February. There will be an opportunity to sell some pieces if you wish, to do some turning in public and talk with interested people, and to wander around and see the displays of the other craft groups. A highly recommended day in very congenial surroundings.

Riccarton House Garden Gala

At Riccarton House on Thursday 18th February. Greatly enjoyed by those who went last year. More details at the February meeting

Shane Hewitt demonstration

NAW are sponsoring this South Island tour by prominent Northland turner SHane Hewitt. There will he a full day demonstration at Rangiora on Wednesday 17th March for which there will be an admission charge. Details on time and cost will be announced at the March meeting, which would also be a good time to organise car-pooling.

Inter-club Fun Day

This year will be held at Timaru on Saturday 22nd May. Keep this date clear and get working on your masterpiece for the club’s table in the competition.
